Charges and cancellation policy

The charges shown below are those applicable to a private hire, for a party or similar function. In addition to the Hire charge a deposit (minimum of £50) will usually be required; this will be returned in full provided the Hall is left in a clean and tidy condition following the Hire and all rubbish is removed. For more details see the General Conditions of Hire.

Note that the Trustees reserve the right to refuse any Hire.

Hirers must be aware that the Hall is available to them only for the time specified. An evening booking, for example, means that the Hall must be left clean, tidy and empty by 11.00 p.m. If the clearing up is planned for the following morning then this must be paid for as above.

All Hires are subject to acceptance of the General Condtions of Hire.

Cancellations: If the Hire is cancelled more than two weeks before the Hire date, the deposit will generally be returned in full and no Hire charge made. If the Hire is cancelled within two weeks of the Hire date, the deposit plus a percentage of the Hire charge (at Trustees’ discretion) will be retained.
